  • Day1

    Caen - Bocage Normand - Cidre factory - Bayeux

    8 km, flat terrain.

    Welcome meeting in Caen at 9:30 am. We will board our mini-bus en route to Bayeux, the first French town to be liberated after D-Day. On our way we will stop at the Petit Fumichon. A cider maker and a local specialty famous in this region. Extracted from apples, also the emblem of Normandy......

  • Day2

    Juno and Omaha Beach

    6 km flat terrain morning + 4 km in the afternoon of moderate hills.

    We start the day with the discovery of the Canadian landing beach, code named, Juno Beach. By tracing the path taken by the allies across Normandy, we will discover the Juno Beach Centre, a museum dedicated to the Canadian forces in WWII; and the Beny-sur-Mer military cemetery located on the heights overlooking the battlefield.....

  • Day3

    Gold Beach and Bayeux Medieval

    6km, walking along the cliffs, flat land

    We leave in the morning to discover the famous artificial harbor at Arromanches to understand the logistics and engineering required for a successful landing. We will walk along the cliffs where the German artillery battery held its impressive vestige of the allies defences. We will share a Pic-nic lunch on this exceptional site. A chance to feel the emotional gravity of history happening. .....

  • Day4

    Mont St Michel

    7 km on firm ground + 1.5 km with numerous steps (+/- 300)

    Early morning departure to the Mont Saint Michel bay. Considered by some as the 8th Wonder of the World, we discover this beautiful abbey as the pilgrims did in the Middle Ages. We will cross the bay accompanied by an expert guide to this exceptional ecosystem...

  • Day5

    St Malo

    3 km city tour, flat land

    A small river shuttle to Saint Malo will amaze with its stories of pirates and maritime conquest; the burial site of Jacques Cartier; UNESCO world heritage status. This small island haven has witnessed corsair history unfold for centuries...

  • Day6

    Ile brehart - Pointe du Groin - Cancale

    10 to 12 km flat terrain, coastal path

    We leave for a grand day of walking to discover Cancale. A charming fishing port, specializing in the cultivation of oysters. On the way, we will organize a lunch picnic fashion, before continuing our journey in the afternoon. ..

  • Day7

    Bayeux - Transfer

    This last day will be devoted to the return to Normandy, facilitating returns to Paris or other destinations... Au Revoir!
