    Loop through the vineyards of Châteauneuf

    Arrival Avignon. Welcome meeting with guests at 10:30am in hotel in Avignon center. Leaving Avignon by minibus we head to Châteauneuf du Pape, a small village perched above the Rhône Valley, the ruins of its castle crowning a small cluster of homes......

    The perched village of Séguret.

    In the morning we transfer to the town of Vaison la Romaine, home of France’s largest Roman archaeological site. It’s Tuesday morning and market day in Vaison....

    Village of Le Barroux and La Roque Alric: a scenic loop

    We head to the foothills of Mont Ventoux, Provence’s highest mountain at 1912m. The villages set at the foot of the mountain are timeless, off the beaten-track, with wide-sweeping views of the great expanse of the Rhône Valley....

    Gordes and Sénanque Abbey

    In the morning we say farewell to Mazan and head to the Luberon mountains, famous for their perched villages. The most famous is probably Gordes, set high above the Calavon Valley, its golden stone homes rising in circles to the church and castle at the top.....

    Lacoste and Bonnieux

    Aiguebrun Valley Walk

    We transfer to the heart of the Luberon mountains to begin our walk, in the otherworldly and lush Aiguebrun valley – the only river in the Luberon. Limestone cliffs soar to either side.....

  • Day7

    Avignon

    Trip ends. Transfer back to Avignon. Au revoir la Provence!
